Orange chicken breast is a quick and easy second course to prepare, with a delicate taste and an unmistakable citrus scent. This dish is certainly refined and original, and you can prepare it in different ways; you can cook whole chicken breasts, chicken strips, or prepare tender morsels flouring them previously. The sweet and sour taste is given by adding a teaspoon of honey to the orange juice, that will be used to season the floured chicken cooked in a pan. The recipe proposed here has an oriental touch given by a drop of soy sauce during cooking and the final sesame seeds.

How to make orange chicken

Take the oranges, cut them in half and squeeze them to obtain the juice (1), but before doing it set aside two slices for the decoration of the dish. Add a tablespoon of acacia honey to the orange juice. Wash and clean the chicken breasts, then cut them into small pieces (2), then flour them (3).

In a pan pour a little oil, add the chicken morsels, cook for a few minutes and then simmer with the white wine. Pour the soy sauce, and then add the orange juice (4). Cook until a thick sauce will be formed (5), similar to a glaze, but without letting it stick in the pan. Serve the chicken morsels on a plate with the orange slices (6). To give a touch of originality and crunchiness, add the sesame seeds.
