Jam-Filled Puff Pastry Flakes are a quick and easy recipe, made with just a handful of ingredients: two rolls of ready-made rectangular puff pastry, jam, an egg for brushing the surface, and a little granulated sugar for coating. After baking, the resulting crumbly, golden, and fragrant treats are perfect for a snack or breakfast, accompanied by a glass of latte or a steaming cup of herbal tea.
In our version, we filled them with apricot jam, but of course, you can opt for your favorite flavor: peaches, strawberries, blueberries, cherries, and so on. They're also delicious filled with hazelnut or pistachio spread, peanut or almond butter, but also honey and chopped walnuts, maple syrup, and whatever else you like.
