Arby's is bringing back one of its most talked-about protein innovations just in time for late summer. This Wednesday, the fast-food chain known for its heavy-hitting meat offerings officially announced the nationwide return of Arby's Steak Nuggets. First introduced in late 2025 as a first-of-its-kind fast-food offering, the bite-sized steak pieces deliver steakhouse flavor without the formal sit-down price tag or the need for a steak knife.
The limited-time menu return comes with exciting upgrades, including a brand-new signature dipping sauce and a loaded steak-and-potatoes bowl built for comfort food fans.
What's New on the 2026 Menu Lineup?
Unlike standard chicken nuggets, Arby's Steak Nuggets consist of bite-sized cuts of tender steak seared, smoked, and seasoned with garlic and black pepper. While last year's launch focused on traditional BBQ dipping pairings, the 2026 drop expands how fans can enjoy the bite-sized protein.
The updated menu lineup includes:
- Steak Nuggets (Standalone): Available in 5-count and 9-count orders served with a fork for clean eating. Arby's is also offering a digital-exclusive 20-count Party Pack that comes bundled with two large fries.
- All-New Horsey Ranch Sauce: A brand-new dipping sauce crafted specifically for this year's return, blending the creamy tang of classic buttermilk ranch with the zesty horseradish kick of Arby's famous Horsey Sauce.
- The New Steak ‘n Potato Bowl: A hearty combination layering crispy golden potatoes and melty cheese sauce, topped with a generous portion of Steak Nuggets.
- The Returning Steak ‘n Mac Bowl: Steak Nuggets served over creamy white cheddar Mac ‘n Cheese, finished with a topping of crunchy crispy onions.
Why Fast-Food Fans Are Hyped
Combining steakhouse-quality cuts with drive-thru convenience answered a major void in the market when the item first debuted. By eliminating the hassle of cutting up a steak, Arby's created a portable protein option that works as an on-the-go snack or a full dinner base.
"Last year, we brought 100% steak goodness to the world in a nugget with Steak Nuggets," said Jeff Baker, Chief Marketing Officer at Arby's. "Our guests told us how much they loved them, so we had to bring Steak Nuggets back this year. And this year, we made them even better with our new Horsey Ranch dipping sauce and a new Steak ‘n Potato Bowl."
The Steak Nuggets and companion bowls will roll out to participating Arby's locations nationwide on August 24th for a limited time while supplies last.
