The basis of this recipe are rice noodles and a beef broth with a lot of aroma due to the herbs and spices that are added; It is one of the most traditional Vietnamese dishes known in the world and is very substantial. In Vietnam this rich soup is eaten for breakfast, lunch or dinner, no matter the time to taste a dish as comforting as this, that is why it has become an essential dish when it comes to selecting a good meal to share with friends and family, because each diner can give a special touch when adding fresh herbs, such as basil, lemon leaves, cilantro, etc. that are served for each person to add to their taste, as well as the Hoisin sauce or Sriracha that finished giving the great touch

Instructions

Put 2 liters of water in a pot, add the meat, the bones and cook for 15 minutes. When the meat is cooked, remove the meat and remove the fat from the broth. Cut the onion and the ginger (unpeeled) in half. Toast the onion, garlic and ginger in a pan, when they are toasted, add them to the pot. Add one more liter of water and all spices, cardamom and star anise and continue to cook over medium low heat for about two hours. Allow the meat to cool and cut it into thin slices. Meanwhile, put a liter and a half in a medium pot and cook the rice noodles for Pho al dente.

Drain the rice noodles for Pho and wash them in cold water. When the soup is ready, add 2 tablespoons of salt and ground black pepper. Finally prepare the plate assembly: cut the onion in fine wheels, cook two eggs for exactly 7 minutes so that its center is still melted, cut the jalapeno into thin slices, slice the green onion. To serve the Pho it is better to use a large cup, add two cups of broth, place the rice noodles, the meat and the rest of the ingredients to taste.
