Launched by Chick-fil-A’s innovation arm, Red Wagon Ventures, Daybright Coffee and Refreshment is a standalone café-style concept focused entirely on beverages and light fare. The first location finally opened, in Hiram, Georgia, featuring a dual-lane drive-thru and full dining room. Like its parent brand, Daybright is closed on Sundays and operates Monday through Saturday from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
The Menu Highlights
Daybright’s menu is built around handcrafted drinks and simple ingredients, with no traditional Chick-fil-A items like nuggets or sandwiches. Instead, it features:
- Signature Coffees: A lineup of handcrafted brews including cold brew, drip coffee, and specialty lattes like the Brown Bear—a cozy blend of espresso with brown sugar and buttery notes.
- Iced Teas & Lemonades: House-made drinks served on tap, featuring refreshing options like Yuzu You, a citrus-forward lemonade infused with yuzu, lemon, lime, and orange.
- Fizzes: Sparkling fruit-based beverages made with juices such as passion fruit, coconut, and pineapple-mango—perfect for a bubbly pick-me-up.
- Smoothies: Nutrient-packed blends like the Jam Sesh, which mixes raspberry, blueberry, banana, oats, and flaxseed with coconut milk and orange juice, topped with a swirl of coconut cream.
- Bright Pressed Juices: Cold-pressed bottled juices including Rabbit Trail, a vibrant mix of carrot, mango, lemon, and turmeric for a zesty wellness boost.
- Daily Donuts: Freshly baked, oven-roasted donuts made with olive oil—simple, circular, and served warm each morning.
- Hot Takes: Warm food options like breakfast sandwiches, a pressed burrito, and the indulgent Chocolate Pull Apart—a brioche-style bread filled with vanilla custard and chocolate chips.
- Kid’s Menu: Designed for little ones (but open to all), this section includes easy-to-eat breakfast bites like a crustless PB&J sandwich reminiscent of Uncrustable.

Why It Matters
Daybright represents Chick-fil-A’s first major departure from its core chicken menu, targeting health-conscious consumers, morning commuters, and beverage enthusiasts. The concept is designed to compete with brands like Starbucks and Dutch Bros, offering a fast-casual café experience with Chick-fil-A’s signature hospitality.
