Oh, this baked chicken preparation is all this and all that! I do not know about the Swiss standard for cheesy foods but for me, this dish stands right at the top. I have honestly never ever had much gooier and cheesier dish than this one right here…

This dish has three different varieties of cheese, that is, cheddar, mozzarella, and parmesan cheese. Apart from the heavenly cheese combo, this dish includes sour cream and cream cheese that adds to the gooeyness of this chicken dish. Also, you will love the lovely tang added to the dish by the sour cream.

In short, there is nothing to not like about this heavenly preparation coined by the ‘cheese gods’!

Instructions

Preheat oven to 175 degrees C. Clean and pat dry the chicken breasts. Transfer the chicken breast in to a clean and dry baking dish. Evenly sprinkle grated cheddar cheese and keep aside. In a bowl, add mayonnaise, sour cream, cream cheese, shredded mozzarella, salt, black pepper powder, minced garlic and mix everything until well blended.

Spread the mayonnaise mixture evenly over the cheddar covered chicken breasts. Now evenly spread shredded parmesan all over the chicken and transfer the baking dish in to the preheated oven. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until the chicken cooks well. Serve hot and enjoy!

Tips

Instead of using whole chicken breasts, you may also cut the chicken in to large cubes and proceed with the cooking directions as mentioned above. Maintain the baking temperature and you might need to keep a watch in the final minutes of baking. You may replace cream cheese by doubling the quantity of sour cream. This will increase the tang of the dish. Add half a tablespoon of freshly chopped basil or parsley to give a nice herby flavor to the dish.
