To ripen an avocado use a paper bag and a banana – To ripen an avocado in very short time you just need to wrap it in a paper bag or in some newspaper pages, provided that you do this with another fruit without seasonality like a banana or an apple. After leaving everything to rest at room temperature for one night, the result will be impeccable. In the event that you do not have any other fruit to put together with the avocado, you will have to wait at least a couple of days.

To ripen an avocado use the oven – Do you want to know the fastest way to ripen an avocado? Just put it in the oven. The important thing is to wrap it in aluminium and leave it in the oven for 10-15 minutes at 90C degrees, repeating the operation until it softens. At that point, it will only be necessary to let it cool. Anyway, it is better not to put it in the microwave oven because it could adulterate its taste.

To ripen an avocado use the salt – Also the salt can accelerate the ripening process of an avocado. You just have to remove the stem of the fruit with a sharp knife and then put a pinch of salt inside. After leaving it to rest for 24 hours, the fruit will be ripe. Be careful however not to exaggerate with salt, since the taste of the avocado could change.

Avocado puree with peas – when you need to prepare guacamole in a short time but the avocado to use is not ripe yet, you just need to mix it with 100 grams of peas and mix them until you get a homogeneous mixture. Alternatively, you can replace peas with a teaspoon of cider vinegar and half lime juice. After leaving the mixture 10 minutes at rest, you can crush everything with a fork.
