This recipe will give you potato chips just like you enjoy from the fluffed up bag of your favorite brand! With such lovely crunch and flavors that are uber comforting… you just won’t believe it is something that you made at your own home.

In fact, this is something that you may happily pack for your kid’s tiffin as it is absolutely home made with no artificial preservatives. However, make it in smaller batches or else you will end up eating too much of this carb rich yet totally addictive snack… gotta keep your health in check too!

Jokes aside, the best thing about this no fuss recipe is that you can make it in a large batch and store the chips in an airtight container to keep the crunch intact.

Just serve it any favorite dip or even the good old ketchup and enjoy the best potato chips ever!

Instructions:

Wash, peel and thinly slice the potatoes using a slicer. Put the sliced potatoes in a bowl and mix it well with the olive oil and salt. Keep the bowl aside and in the meantime preheat the oven to 200 degrees C and line a baking tray with aluminum foil. Arrange the potato slices in a single layer on to the lined baking tray and then bake it in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes or until it starts to get brown around the edges.

Flip the potato slices and bake the other side for about 2 to 4 minutes more to bake the other side of the chips. Season the freshly baked and crisp potato chips with salt and black pepper powder, if desired. Serve and enjoy!

Tips

– You may use a cookie sheet instead of using a lined baking tray to bake the potatoes.

– Maintain the baking temperature and you might need to keep a watch on the chips in the final minutes of baking.

– You may choose to season the chips with salt and pepper if required.

– Do not leave the raw potato slices with the salt for too long and not more than 10 to 15 minutes.
