Why should lava cake only be a dessert? Try this savory version with mac & cheese pasta.
Ingredients: 2 cups whole milk, 2 cups macaroni noodles, 2 cups grated yellow cheddar cheese, 2 tsp salt, 3 1/2 cup bread crumbs, 12 blocks cheddar, 1” each, 5 eggs, 2 cups plain flour, Oil for frying.

Directions:
1)In a pot pour 2 cups milk and add 2 cups macaroni. Bring to a boil and stirring continuously. Let them cook;
2) Once noodles are cooked, after about 10 minutes, add 2 cups grated cheese and 2 tsp salt. Stir to combine. Place into another plate to cool completely;
3)Put a tablespoon of mac n’ cheese in a muffin tin. Press into the bottom and up the sides. Add one cube of cheese in the middle. Cover with more macaroni mixture and press. Freeze for 1 hour, up to 24 hours;
4) Take macaroni muffins out of the tin and pass them in flour, then egg and then breadcrumbs;
5) Fry in hot oil for about 5 minutes.
