McDonald’s is digging deep into the nostalgia vault and, yep, busting out those Squishmallows in their Happy Meals. It’s been, what, two years since they last did this? About time honestly. So if you’ve missed hugging those ridiculously soft, squishy little dudes, now’s your shot. As of May 13, 2025, you can swing by participating McDonald’s spots all over the U.S. and try your luck at snagging one of 12 Squishmallows. Side note: they’ve unleashed a shiny new Intergalactic Axolotl called Halley—because apparently, we haven’t reached peak cuteness yet.

So, what’s the deal with these Happy Meals now? Crack one open and—bam!—you get one of 12 Squishmallows plus a little hang tag with the plushie’s name and a bit of lore. It’s like Pokémon meets cuddle buddy. Oh, and that’s not the end: each one’s got a QR code glued to it (well, attached…not literally glued, chill out), so kids—or let’s be real, adults—can unlock some interactive game on their phones. Fast food toys have leveled up. This promo’s running only while supplies last, so good luck if you’re hunting for the whole crew. May the odds be ever in your flavor.

Squishmallows have been massive ever since their debut. It’s wild—over 400 million of these plush blobs have sold. Social media is absolutely losing it.
