McDonald’s is officially bringing back Snack Wraps on July 10, 2025, as a permanent menu item. Featuring McCrispy Strips, shredded lettuce, cheese, and Spicy or Ranch sauce, this long-awaited comeback is a major win for fans.
After nearly a decade off the menu, McDonald’s has officially announced the return of its beloved Snack Wraps, set to hit U.S. locations nationwide on July 10, 2025. The fast-food giant confirmed that the wraps will be a permanent menu item, marking a major win for fans who have spent years petitioning for their comeback.
The returning Snack Wraps will feature McCrispy Strips, McDonald’s all-white meat chicken tenders introduced earlier this year, wrapped in a soft flour tortilla with shredded lettuce, shredded cheese, and a choice of two sauces:
Customers can order the Snack Wrap individually or as part of a combo meal, which includes two wraps, medium fries, and a drink.
McDonald’s decision to revive the Snack Wrap comes after years of fan demand, including social media petitions, viral tweets, and Change.org campaigns. The wraps were originally discontinued in 2016 due to operational challenges, but their cult following never faded. McDonald’s U.S. President Joe Erlinger acknowledged the overwhelming customer requests, stating, “It has a cult following. We heard you.”
McDonald’s isn’t the only chain embracing the wrap trend—Wendy’s, Burger King, Taco Bell, and Popeyes have all introduced their own versions of chicken wraps in recent years. With the Snack Wrap’s return, McDonald’s is reclaiming its spot in the fast-food wrap battle, aiming to satisfy longtime fans while competing with newer offerings.
