Papa Johns is taking pizza innovation to new heights with the launch of its first-ever Croissant Pizza, a bold culinary mashup that pairs the delicate, buttery layers of a croissant with the brand’s signature pizza flavors. The new offering is rolling out across nine international markets this summer, beginning with the United Arab Emirates, and is already generating buzz for its unique texture and customizable toppings.
A Crust Like No Other
The Croissant Pizza features a braided, golden crust that mimics the light, flaky structure of a classic French croissant. Each bite delivers a crisp, airy crunch that contrasts with the rich, savory toppings Papa Johns is known for. Customers can personalize their Croissant Pizza with a variety of toppings, making it a versatile option for adventurous eaters and traditionalists alike.

Inspired by Global Food Trends
According to Papa Johns SVP and Managing Director of International, Chris Lyn-Sue, the Croissant Pizza was born from a year-long development process and extensive consumer research. The team drew inspiration from the rising popularity of croissant hybrids—think cronuts and crookies—and saw an opportunity to bring that same spirit of innovation to the pizza world. “We’re proud to unite two beloved icons into one craveable, delicious product,” Lyn-Sue said, calling the Croissant Pizza a fresh and exciting addition to the quick-service restaurant category.
A Stylish Collaboration with KidSuper
To celebrate the launch, Papa Johns partnered with fashion disruptor KidSuper to design a limited-edition Papa Johns x KidSuper Hot Bag. The custom thermal delivery bag mirrors the artisanal spirit of the Croissant Pizza, with a woven strap inspired by the pizza’s braided crust and a crescent-shaped zipper that nods to the pastry’s iconic form. Select customers in participating markets may receive their pizza in this exclusive bag—and if it shows up at your door, it’s yours to keep.
