Crispy white pizza is a kind of delicious focaccia bread soft inside and crunchy outside. The preparation and the ingredients are very simple, it only takes a little time to allow the rising to make your dough even softer.
How to prepare crispy white pizza
In a large bowl pour the flour (1) and add the sugar and the dry brewer’s yeast (2). Stir so that the ingredients are evenly distributed. Heat the water in the microwave oven for 15 seconds and pour it over the flour (3).
Add the oil (4), mix with a spoon and pour the dough on a pastry board (5). Knead the dough for at least 10 minutes to make it smooth and soft. At this point add the salt and knead the dough for another 10 minutes. Cover it with plastic wrap (6).
Let the dough rise for about two hours until its volume doubles. Then work it and spread it on a plate lined with parchment paper, cover it with cling film and let it rise again for 30 minutes.
After the necessary time, brush the surface with the oil and bake for about 40 minutes at 220° C. However, check the cooking taking a look every now and then.
Crispy white pizza with rosemary
The crisp white pizza can be customized in many ways. If you want to obtain a dough more similar to a focaccia bread, brush the surface with more oil (without it you will have a less tasty surface). And, before cooking, add a few rosemary needles so that it releases its aroma during cooking.
How to preserve crispy white pizza
If you don't want to eat the crispy white pizza right away, you can bake it and slice it. Place a piece of baking paper between a piece of pizza and the other and place them in bags with the hermetic seal and put them in the freezer. When you want to consume white pizza, just defrost it in the oven and heat it for a few minutes.
