The pandemic rages on with many countries observing what experts have termed a resurgence of the pandemic. Unlike the early beginnings last year however, people seem to have come to terms with the necessary actions to curb the spread of the virus.

Thanks to the internet, the tradition will be observed through contactless methods. The preorder process for the cookies began in December, and many budding young entrepreneurs expect to get their hands on the product in February.
Sales of the cookies at physical locations will be performed while observing social distancing. Also, unlike the usual method of distributing the cookies from door to door, the deliveries will be contactless with a mother-daughter team who spoke to the press even suggesting drive-thru pickups as an additional option.
The alternative provided for people who would prefer to remain indoors instead is the Girl Scouts' Digital Cookie platform. The website lets girls set up their own personalized order page, where you can place an order, pay online, and even have it shipped. It also offers mobile app orders for those who want to transact from six feet apart.
It is indeed a good time to be in the digital age; there is no letting the pandemic rid us of such little joys as enjoying girl scout cookie season!
