Ingredients
Mars Bars
4
Butter
1/2 cup
Rice Krispies
3 cups
Chocolate chips
1 cup
Butter
1/4 cup

If you love the chocolate, caramel, and soft nougat combo of Mars bars, you should try them in this simple snack. Mars bars are melted with butter and used to coat Rice Krispies. The mix is then put into a dish, and melted chocolate chips and butter poured on top. Leave them to set, and you have a tasty treat!

Kids love helping to make these – and eating them, too! They are also great with a cup of coffee as an afternoon snack.

Instructions

Chop the Mars bars down into chunks.

Melt the Mars bars and butter together in a pot. Add the butter first, then the chocolate bars.

Keep stirring. Eventually, the mixture will come together and be nice and thick.

Mix the Rice Krispies in with the chocolate bar mix, coating the cereal completely.

Put the mixture into a well-greased 9×9 or 8×8 pan and use the back of a spoon to press down so that the mixture is spread evenly over the pan.

Melt the chocolate and butter for the topping. Melt the butter first, then add the chocolate chips, stirring until smooth.

Pour the chocolate mix on top of the Rice Krispies. Cool in the fridge until set, then cut into pieces and serve.
