McDonald’s is teaming up once again with global K-pop sensation BTS, launching a brand-new TinyTAN Happy Meal that blends nostalgia, collectibles, and fast food fun. Starting September 3, the limited-edition meal will be available at participating locations across the U.S. and 65 other countries, marking the second major collaboration between the fast-food giant and the seven-member group.
The new Happy Meal features TinyTAN toys, animated characters inspired by BTS members RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook, each dressed in themed outfits that reflect past and future BTS x McDonald’s collabs.
What’s Inside the Meal
Each TinyTAN Happy Meal includes:
- A choice of Hamburger or Chicken McNuggets
- A side item (typically fries or apple slices)
- A drink
- A dessert
- One of seven TinyTAN figurines, each representing a BTS member
The toys come in two waves:
- Throwback Edition (available Sept. 3): Features outfits from the original 2021 BTS Meal campaign
- Encore Edition (available Sept. 23): Showcases new looks tied to the latest collaboration
The packaging also includes a scannable code that unlocks the TinyTAN Power Up game, adding a digital layer to the experience.
Beyond the Box
To celebrate the launch, McDonald’s is hosting a Magic Meetup in Los Angeles on September 27–28, offering fans an immersive experience with music, interactive displays, and Happy Meal-themed installations. The event will take place at the nya West venue and is expected to draw thousands of BTS fans, known collectively as ARMY.
This new collaboration taps into the power of fandom and nostalgia, offering both longtime ARMY members and new fans a chance to connect with BTS in a playful, collectible way. According to McDonald’s Senior Marketing Director Guillaume Huin, the TinyTAN Happy Meal is “a celebration of music, joy, and the magic of BTS,” designed to bring smiles to fans of all ages.
