In a move that’s sending snack lovers into a frenzy, Oreo and Reese’s have announced a long-awaited collaboration that delivers not one, but two new treats. The partnership marks the first time the brands have teamed up since 2014, and fans are calling it a “snacking dream come true.” The new products—Reese’s Oreo Cup and Oreo Reese’s Cookie—combine the best of both worlds: chocolate, peanut butter, and that signature Oreo crunch.
What’s Inside the Reese’s Oreo Cup
The Reese’s Oreo Cup reimagines the classic peanut butter cup with a twist. Inside the familiar milk chocolate shell, you’ll find Oreo cookie crumbs blended into the peanut butter filling. But that’s not all—the upper half of the cup is coated in white Oreo crème, creating a layered flavor experience that’s rich, creamy, and satisfyingly crunchy. Available in King Size, Standard Size, and Miniature Cups, the Reese’s Oreo Cup will become a permanent addition to the Reese’s lineup starting September 2025, with presales launching August 18 on The Hershey’s Store.

The Oreo Reese’s Cookie Returns
If you’re more of a cookie person, the Oreo Reese’s Cookie is your ticket to indulgence. It looks like a classic Oreo at first glance, but inside is a Reese’s peanut butter crème filling swirled with Oreo cookie crumbs. This cookie is a revival of the 2014 limited-edition flavor, and while it will only be available while supplies last this fall, Oreo has confirmed it will return to shelves as part of its permanent portfolio in January 2026.
Why Fans Are Losing It
The announcement has sparked a wave of excitement online, with fans celebrating the mashup they’ve been requesting for years. Social media has long been filled with DIY versions of the combo—people stacking Oreos inside peanut butter cups or dipping cookies into melted Reese’s. Now, the brands are delivering the real deal.
“This collaboration redefines what it means to be a snacking leader,” said Michelle Deignan, VP of Oreo U.S. “We’re constantly looking for ways to disrupt the market, and what better way than to partner with Reese’s to deliver the collab of their dreams?”
Dan Mohnshine, VP of U.S. Confection Marketing at Hershey, echoed the sentiment: “This isn’t just another product launch—it’s two legendary brands coming together to create something absolutely unprecedented that’ll blow minds and taste buds everywhere”.
