Apple cider vinegar is a store cupboard essential, and many people take it in water as a health drink too. It turns out that apple cider vinegar is also a great beauty tool, and celebrities like singer Halsey make use of it in their own beauty routines.

Here are seven fab uses for apple cider vinegar that you may not know about:

1. Foot Soak

The acid in apple cider vinegar makes it a good odor neutralizer, and it’s also good for dealing with fungus and warts too. Make your own soothing vinegar soak from ¼ cup apple cider vinegar, diluted in a small bowl of warm water.

2. Acne Treatment

Apple cider vinegar can help deal with acne. It has been known to kill bacteria and help balance the pH levels in the skin. It can also absorb some of the excess oils from the skin surface, and all these things benefit acne sufferers.

Mix one-part vinegar to 3-4 parts water, and apply the solution directly to the skin with a cotton wool pad and leave for 10 minutes. Rinse. Repeat up to three times a day.

Dilute 1/3 cup apple cider vinegar with four cups of water. Massage onto your hair after shampoo, and leave for ten minutes with a shower cap on. Rinse out with cold water for extra-shiny locks.
