Macadamia oil derives from a tree that grows mainly in the area of Oceania. It is extracted by cold pressing of the stone very rich in vitamins, mineral salts and fatty acids.

Its composition makes it very suitable to nourish and treat the skin and hair because it is absorbed very well and it leaves a protective and not fat layer.

Macadamia oil has nourishing and regenerating properties on the skin, while on the hair it has a very effective restructuring action, especially in the case of dry and dull hair.

In particular, macadamia oil has an anti-aging, repairing and healing function on the skin of the face and body, and it also helps in the case of irritation and sunburn.

Here are the seven treatments for skin and hair based on macadamia oil.

This natural remedy will be useful in the case of a very dry skin. For this treatment we will use 20 grams of macadamia oil, 20 grams of natural Greek yogurt rich in nutrients and 5 drops of sweet orange essence with illuminating properties for the face.

In a glass or plastic container, put the natural Greek yogurt and then add the macadamia oil and the sweet orange essence. Mix for about a minute to allow the ingredients to mix. Spread the mixture evenly over the entire face, paying attention to the delicate area around the eyes. Leave the mask to act for 25 minutes and then rinse with warm water. This treatment can be done once a week.

This do-it-yourself recipe will be very useful in case of irritation and sunburns on the skin. The basis of this treatment is aloe vera gel which has healing, soothing and moisturizing properties.
