Oh, I love love love this absolutely delicious pasta dish! Angel chicken pasta has such incredible flavors and an exotic appeal that will surely make you drool many times over.

The best thing about this delicious pasta dish is that it involves no fancy cooking skills and most of the ingredients in this recipe are partially cooked or requires absolutely no time to cook. So, your main task is to cook the chicken well in the creamy sauce and have your pasta ‘al dente’ ready before you serve!

Replace the cream cheese with equal quantities of thick plain Greek yogurt to enjoy a healthier version of the delicious and creamy pasta dish!

Instructions

Boil, cook and drain the pasta of your choice as per the package instructions until al dente. Keep it aside covered in a warm place. Preheat oven to 175 degrees C. In a pan, melt butter on medium flame.

Stir in the dry Italian dressing mix, white wine, mushroom soup and mix everything well until nicely combined. Lower the flame and stir in the cream cheese and mix it well in to the soup mix until smooth in consistency. Do not let it boil. In a small baking dish place the clean pieces of chicken breast and pour the soup mix over the chicken. Transfer the baking dish in to the preheated oven and bake the chicken for about 45 minutes or until the chicken cooks. In a serving dish place the boiled pasta and serve the chicken filet over it. Pour a few ladle full of the sauce and sprinkle fresh basil leaves over it. Serve hot and enjoy!

Tips

To cook, boil 8 cups of drinking water in a large pot and add 200g of pasta to it.

Add a teaspoon of salt and let the pasta cook in boiling water for about 10 to 12 minutes, while stirring intermittently. Drain and use in the recipe.

You may also cut the chicken pieces in to small cubes and use in the recipe as instructed for you to enjoy chicken without any hassle or use of proper dining cutlery. You may top up the dish with 2 tablespoons of shredded parmesan cheese as well.
