This recipe of baked cheese crisps is quite easy to prepare and a healthier alternative for a decadent snack. This version is non-fried and instead baked with practically no amount of added oil. Serve it with any dip of your choice to enjoy a quick and tasty appetizer in the next house party you host!
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees C and line a baking tray with butter paper. Add diced cheese, semolina, black pepper, and cilantro in a bowl.
Crack open the egg into the cheese mixture. Mix all the ingredients well until well combined.
Place a heaped tablespoon of this mixture on the prepared baking tray.
Bake it for 15 minutes at 180 degrees C. Flip and bake it again for another 5 minutes. Serve hot and enjoy!
You can very lightly grease a butter paper as well. Carefully crack open the egg into the bowl. You may bake it a little longer to get the desired level of crispness.
