Bread fritters are the ideal recipe for a dinner or a buffet, to be prepared with very few ingredients. In our recipe we will make a dough simply with flour, baking soda, salt and water. It will then have to rest at least an hour before making balls of dough that will then be spread and fried in hot oil until golden. You can then serve them to accompany the dishes or stuff them at your leisure.
How to prepare bread fritters
Mix the flour with baking soda and salt in a bowl. Gradually pour the water and knead until it is a smooth dough: if necessary add a little more flour. Cover the dough with a cotton cloth and let it sit for an hour. Once the necessary time has elapsed form balls and spread them with your hands.
Fry them in hot oil until they are golden brown. Lift them and place them on a plate covered with kitchen paper to remove excess oil.
Serve your bread fritters with what you want.
Once ready you can season your bread fritters with tomato, mozzarella and cheese or with the ingredients you prefer. Ideal for a tasty dinner with friends.
Make balls of the same size, so as to obtain equal fritters. You can make them larger or smaller, depending on your needs.
