These garlic butter mushrooms are one of the simplest and yet tastiest dishes you can make. The flavors of the garlic, thyme, and balsamic vinegar mingle with the earthy tones of the mushrooms to make this so moreish!

Serve as a side dish with meat, poultry, or fish, or on their own as an appetizer.

Instructions

Preheat oven to 375F/170C fan/gas mark 5. In a medium bowl, whisk together butter, garlic, thyme, and balsamic vinegar.

Spread the cleaned mushrooms into an even layer on a large baking sheet.

Pour the butter mixture over mushrooms, then season with salt and pepper. Toss well to coat, then spread mushrooms back onto the tray into an even layer.

Roast for 15 to 18 minutes, until golden and tender.
