Green tea is also a potent anti-bacterial agent and can be used to treat skin problems such as acne, pimples, and to unclog the skin pores. Polyphenols present in green tea are also beneficial in fighting the bacteria and controlling of the inflammation and redness of the skin. Vitamin B2 and E are effective in delaying signs of aging and also improves the elasticity of the skin if used regularly. Green tea acts as a natural hydrating agent and it can also reduce inflammation around eyes.

Green tea and orange mask. This is a very effective mask for dry and dull skin. Mix a tablespoon each of green tea and orange peel powder with half a teaspoon of honey until the mixture is smooth in consistency. Apply it all over your face and then rinse it with lukewarm water to get a lovely glow on your skin.

Green tea and mint mask. This pack works well on normal and combination skin to make the skin soft and supple. Mix 3 tablespoons of green tea leaves with 2 tablespoons of mint leaves and 1 tablespoon of raw honey. Make it in to a smooth paste and then apply this mixture all over your face. Let the mask dry and then wash it off with some lukewarm water.

Green tea and rice flour mask. This face mask works perfectly on oily skin. Mix 2 tablespoons of rice flour with 1 tablespoon each of green tea and fresh lemon juice. Mix it all until well combined, apply it over your face, and then let it dry. Rinse it with lukewarm water to get a soft, clean, and beautiful looking skin.
