Do you eat avocado and do you also want to lose extra pounds? You could be the right candidate to participate in the research of a team of scientists who want to conduct a nutritional study about the effects of avocados on abdominal fat and its influence on cardiovascular diseases.

The research is conducted by several American universities including Loma Linda University, California's University in Los Angeles, Tufts University in Massachusetts, Pennsylvania State University and Wake Forest University in North Carolina.

Right on the site of one of these universities there are details to find out if you are the right candidate. What kind of experiment is this?
The chosen ones will have to eat an avocado a day for six months, clearly combined with their usual diet. Abdominal fat, cholesterol and glucose values will be measured three times: at the beginning, at the twelfth week and at the twenty-sixth week. Participants will also have to do a memory test at the beginning and at the end of the study.

In return for their collaboration as well as free avocados and other small unspecified gifts, the researchers at the end of the study will give participants a fee of $ 300, as a benefit.

The purpose of the study, as we said, is to find out if eating an avocado every day for six months has an impact on the amount and distribution of fat in the body.
