Tips

The best rolls for making ham and cheese sliders are Hawaiian sweet rolls, brioche buns, potato rolls, or pretzel buns. For more decadent sliders, use croissants.

Any deli ham works for the sliders – honey-roasted, Black forest, smoked, or ale-cured will all be delicious.

Add other cold cuts like salami, mortadella, prosciutto, sliced chicken, or roast beef to your sliders.

Instead of Swiss cheese, try cheddar, provolone, Muenster, Monterey Jack, goat cheese, Emmentaler, or Jarlsberg.

No Dijon mustard? Spicy brown mustard, yellow mustard, wholegrain, honey mustard, or hot mustard.

How to Make Ham and Cheese Sliders

Cut the rolls in half horizontally. Place the bottom halves of the rolls in the baking dish.

Place the top halves of the rolls on top of the cheese.

In a small bowl, whisk mustard, Worcestershire sauce, poppy seeds, melted butter and dried onion until combined.
