Creamy hazelnut liqueur is a creamy Nutella-based liqueur easy to make at home and also known as Nutellino in Italy. This sweet and mouth-watering recipe will please even those who don't like alcohol: it's perfect to give all your guests a try, or to enjoy for a sweet break. You can make it just one day ahead of time and serve it well chilled: you can use it up in a very short time. Those who prefer can also give it as a gift to friends and family: it will be very appreciated.

How to make Homemade Creamy Hazelnut Liqueur

In a pot, combine the liquid cream, milk, sugar and Nutella and stir all ingredients with a whisk until well combined. Cook over low heat until the texture is creamy. Remove the saucepan from heat and let cool, covering the cream with plastic wrap.

As soon as it is well chilled, add the alcohol and stir with a whisk, until well combined. Pour the hazelnut creamy liqueur in a clean glass bottle and put it in the fridge. The next day it will already be delicious. Enjoy!

Tips

– You can serve the liqueur in small glasses or together with wafers and gaufres, for a more spectacular effect. It can also be used to garnish ice cream cups or slices of cake.

– Those who prefer, can make this liqueur by making homemade hazelnut cream, a simple recipe which will make your liqueur even more genuine.

– In order to taste an even more delicious Nutella liqueur, let it rest for at least 20 days: the flavors of the different ingredients will blend perfectly.
