Italian Easter bread: sweet and fluffy!

Put painted egg in the middle of bread! The result will be amazing!

INGREDIENTS: 2 1/4 tsp dry yeast, 1 1/4 cup warm milk, 75 g butter, 2 eggs, beaten, 1/2 cup sugar, A pinch of salt, 4 cups flour, Pinch of orange zest, egg wash, 4 painted Easter eggs, sesame seeds.

INSTRUCTIONS:

Mix all the ingredients for the dough and gradually add flour.

Let rise for 1 hour in warm place.

Divide into 6 parts, make strips and form the bread.

Let rise for 1 hour.

Grease with egg wash and sprinkle with sesame.

Put painted egg in the middle of bread and bake 170°C/340°F for 20 min.

Make also the second recipe: Savory easter dove cake

Ingredients:
3 eggs
salt
100g Parmesan cheese
300g flour
50ml olive oil
300ml milk
15g baking powder
100g ham
100g salami
100g scamorza cheese
sesame seeds, as needed
almonds, as needed

Instructions: 

Beat together the eggs, salt, Parmesan cheese.

Gradually add the oil, milk, and flour.

Lastly, mix in the baking powder.

Now, add anything you prefer to the batter, we chose scamorza cheese, salami, and ham.

Pour the batter into an easter dove cake mold, dust the top with sesame seeds, Parmesan cheese, and chopped almonds.

Bake at 180°C for 45 minutes.

Once the surface is golden brown, remove from the oven and let it cool a bit before serving.
