Pumpkin Chips: the recipe to make in the oven

Pumpkin chips are a healthy snack and easy to prepare for a tasty and alternative aperitif. Cut the pumpkin slices thinly, season with salt, oil and rosemary and place them in a baking pan to cook them in the oven. Serve them with a guacamole sauce or with some spicy chili meat, and you will have a delicious appetizer, which can be prepared for all occasions.


Take the pumpkin, clean it and peel it. Cut it first into squares and then into slices about half a centimeter thick 1. Prepare a mixture with extra-virgin olive oil, salt, pepper, sweet paprika and chopped rosemary 2. Take a baking sheet, cover it with a sheet of baking paper, lay the pumpkin slices and with a teaspoon pour the mixture of oil and spices 3. Cook for 15 minutes in a preheated oven at 180 degrees. As soon as your chips lightly brown, serve with a sauce of your choice.


During cooking the pumpkin tends to lose liquid and consequently shrink, for this reason it is advisable that the thickness of the slices is not less than half a centimeter.

These pumpkin chips are also delicious with peel, be careful to clean the pumpkin well and try them with a guacamole sauce or with some chili meat.

For a more decisive taste, add minced chilli to your oil and spice mixture.
