There is a large list of pancake recipes, differentiated by their ingredients. There are with fruits (apples, bananas, blueberries, pineapple, peaches), with chocolate, cream, peanut butter and many other ingredients that make them more, or less attractive according to the taste of the diners. A s'more is a traditional American and Canadian dessert, consisting of roasted marshmallows, accompanied by chocolate and served between two graham crackers. The recipe for s'mores pancakes has children as main fans, as it keeps the delicious taste of the s'more and becomes even more provocative and succulent by combining it with the mild flavor and texture of the wonderful pancakes. Instructions

Prepare a marshmallows cream for the topping as follow: It is needed to use water bath (also called marie bain) to prevent marshmallows adherence. Fill the bottom of a large cooking pot with water.


Take a smaller pot or bowl and grease it with some butter. Place it on top. Once the water in the bottom cooking pot is boiling, lower the heat and put the marshmallows in the top bowl and add 2 tbsp of water and 3 tbsp of sugar.

Proceed to stir until all the marshmallows have melted. You can add a little more water if necessary. When marshmallows are melted retire from heat and allow it to reach room temperature

For the pancakes

In a large bowl proceed to mix first the flour, baking powder, sugar and salt. Melt the butter and add to the bowl. Add now the milk and the egg (preferably both cold). You can add a vanilla trickle if you want. Place a frying pan on medium-high heat. Grease the pan with a little butter or oil. Now pour about ¼ of the mixture in the pan. Once the mixture form bubbles flip it. Cook both sides until they are lightly browned.

For the S’more

Melt the chocolate with the butter. Heat in the microwave at 20-second intervals each time, and stir between each interval. Cover with a layer of chocolate the first pancake and spread some cracker pieces.
Put a pancake on top and cover with marshmallow cream and spread again some cracker pieces. Place another pancake on top and repeat the two previous steps until all pancakes are used.
Sprinkle everything with the rest of crackers pieces and put on top mini marshmallows.
