Sloppy Joe sandwiches are an American-style dish made with ground beef, ketchup, tomato sauce and other ingredients. The difference between a Sloppy Joe and a hamburger is that the meat is cooked loose instead of forming a cake, even though it is eaten between two hamburger buns.
The Sloppy Joes are sandwiches of stewed or ground meat that were very typical in the cafeterias of the schools in the USA.
On the internet there are several versions of this classic American recipe, where the degree of sweet / salty that is given to the meat varies (Cajun flavor, BBQ, Bolognese, etc.), here we present a very simple version.

How to prepare a Sloppy Joes Burger.
Peel and chop the onion, tomato and garlic in small pieces. Heat the oil over medium heat in a large skillet. Add the onion and garlic and cook for 5 to 8 minutes, until tender and transparent. Add the chopped tomato and cook for 30 seconds more. Remove everything from the pan and put it in a large bowl. Add the minced meat to the pan and raise the heat to medium-high. Cook the meat until it is completely sealed.
Separate with a wooden spoon. If the meat has released a lot of fat, we drain the most.
Place the vegetables in the pan again, add the fried tomato, ketchup, brown sugar and chili powder. Season with salt and pepper and let it boil over low heat.
