In addition to being an excellent condiment for your recipes, apple cider vinegar is a precious ally for cleaning your home in an ecological and natural way, from the washing machine to the silverware. Furthermore, it is also an excellent product for skin and hair care. Apple cider vinegar is an economic and very effective solution if you want to counteract and eliminate mold stains especially on smooth and plastic surfaces: are you aware of that annoying mold that forms on the shower curtain? Here, just dilute a glass of apple cider vinegar and two glasses of water in a sprayer and spray it on the stain, wait a couple of minutes and rub with a cloth.
To clean taps, remove limestone and polish, you do not necessarily need a chemical and industrial product, apple cider vinegar is sufficient and very effective. Dilute it in equal parts in water and spray it on taps, tiles and sanitary fixtures, but also on the surface of the iron: in a few minutes they will become shiny. If you need to remove limestone from the shower telephone, you can leave it for an hour in a container full of water and apple cider vinegar.
If you have yellowed linings or sheets and are looking for a natural and ecological remedy to whiten them in a short time, fill a bowl with hot water, pour a glass of apple cider vinegar and leave your yellowed clothes to soak for about 30 minutes. After the necessary time, rinse them by hand or in the washing machine.
Apple cider vinegar absorbs and eliminates bad smells: if you are thinking of cleaning the refrigerator and eliminating the not very pleasant smells that can lurk inside, fill a glass of vinegar and leave it for a few hours inside. Dilute water and apple cider vinegar in the same quantities, spray and let it rest for 5 minutes before rinsing.
A natural remedy to have shiny silverware or to polish your wooden surfaces: in the first case, you can soak what you want to polish in a bowl with hot water and apple cider vinegar while, for the wood, use a mixture of water, apple cider vinegar and a spoonful of olive oil, shake your emulsion before using it on the surfaces and then wipe with a dry cloth.
Combine water, apple cider vinegar and a teaspoon of baking soda in a sprayer: use it to rub and eliminate those annoying stains that can form on your mattresses. The same mixture is also excellent for "refreshing" and "reviving" your carpets.

You may not believe it, but apple cider vinegar has a softening effect on clothes: fill the measuring cup you usually use for the washing machine with apple cider vinegar and add it to normal detergent. Excellent even if you choose to wash by hand, maybe the most delicate clothes.
A curious remedy to eliminate creases from your clothes without using an iron: spray a mixture of water and apple cider vinegar on your clothes and "iron" them by pulling the edges, let them dry in the sun and say goodbye to creases.
Apple cider vinegar is also a precious ally for the natural care of our body: it is in fact rich in mineral salts, and it has an antioxidant and antibacterial action. You can use it as an alternative to the classic mouthwash, mixed with water, to gargle and purify the mouth, in this way you will also help your gums to tone and strengthen, preventing annoying mouth ulcers and toothache.
Used in place of shampoo, apple cider vinegar has a strengthening and matting effect, especially if applied on oily and semi-oily hair. In the event of hair loss, apple cider vinegar can replenish deficient mineral salts because it is rich in calcium and salicylic acid.
If you want to help fight mild asthma, dilute a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar in a glass of water and drink it in small sips every 30 minutes for 6 hours. The same remedy is also excellent against annoying coughs, thanks to the disinfectant properties of apple cider vinegar.
Being rich in calcium, apple cider vinegar can be used to strengthen your teeth and decrease the chance of tartar or tooth decay: you will just need a teaspoon in a glass of water and repeated rinsing before going to sleep.
