Chamomile is not only an excellent remedy to promote relaxation and induce sleep, you can also use it at home for household cleaning. In particular, it is an excellent do-it-yourself remedy to eliminate scale deposits from shower and sanitary ware. Here's how to make it!

We all know chamomile as a remedy with soothing and relaxing properties, useful for relieving tension and stress. Few instead know the potential of chamomile as a powerful anti-scaling product, just like the two most famous home remedies: vinegar and baking soda, really effective natural and do-it-yourself products.

Chamomile can therefore be a natural substitute for classic chemicals full of additives and parabens: it will in fact make sinks, showers, faucets and pipes shine, eliminating the annoying opaque patina, and all the incrustations caused by limescale, from our sanitary ware. Here's how to make this latest organic discovery for house cleaning.

Natural do-it-yourself anti-scaling product based on chamomile: how to make it

The preparation of this natural and do-it-yourself anti-scaling product is very simple:

empty a 500ml sprayer; add 75 grams of pure citric acid, 1 liter of demineralized water and a sachet of chamomile; mix well all the "ingredients" and your do-it-yourself preparation is ready to be used.

You can use this natural anti-scaling product in the kitchen and in the bathroom on fixtures, on tiles and in the shower: in case of calcareous encrustations, apply the product on the surface to be treated, let it act for a few minutes and then remove all by passing a damp microfiber cloth.

However, be careful not to use the product on some surfaces: even if it is a natural remedy, it is better to avoid the use of the anti-scaling chamomile on wood, stone, marble and terracotta, in fact these are particularly delicate surfaces.
