The chocolate cake with 2 ingredients is a very fast and delicious dessert, ideal for those who love "the food of the gods". Indeed, chocolate is the protagonist of this delicious cake that will melt in your mouth. A dessert without flour, without sugar and without milk, but which will still be soft and irresistible, prepared only with chocolate and eggs. A cake to be enjoyed every time you desire some chocolate. But here's how to do it quickly to delight all those who have a sweet tooth.

How to make the Chocolate Cake with 2 Ingredients

Put the chocolate in pieces in a bowl 1 and melt it in bain-marie or in the microwave oven. Once ready, mix it and let it cool 2. Divide the egg yolks from the egg whites. Beat the egg whites until thick and keep them aside 3.

Add the egg yolks to the melted chocolate and mix: the mixture will become quite compact, but don't worry. Add the whipped egg whites and mix them with movements from the bottom upwards, so as not to “break” them. The mixture will become soft 4. Pour the mixture into a 20 cm diameter buttered and floured mold or lined with parchment paper 5. Bake in a preheated oven at 180° C for about 30 minutes: always do the toothpick test to check that the dessert is also cooked inside. Once ready, let it cool and serve 6.

Tips

If the cake goes limp after baking, don't worry, it is normal for this to happen because the yeast is missing. The cake will still be soft and delicious.

For the preparation we used dark chocolate but you can also use milk chocolate, white chocolate or hazelnut chocolate: the cake will be sweeter. You can sprinkle the chocolate cake with icing sugar if you like.

How to store Chocolate Cake with 2 Ingredients

You can preserve the chocolate cake with 2 ingredients for up to a week under a cake glass bell jar for cake.
