This recipe is so tasty with surprisingly few ingredients. This one recipe also makes a complete meal- no side dishes needed here! The delicious cream sauce begins with a simple can of creamy chicken soup. The chicken is pan fried and then continues to cook in the soup which infuses the chicken with a great flavor. Adding broccoli to the dish makes this chicken not only look appealing but adds great nutritional value! You will surely love this recipe and it may become a staple in your dinner repertoire.

  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and then add the chicken breasts, diced onion, diced garlic, salt and pepper. Cook the chicken over medium heat for about 10 minutes.
  • Flip the chicken and cook for another ten minutes on the other side. The garlic and onions should also begin to brown and caramelize.
  • While the chicken is cooking, whisk the condensed soup together with the water and parmesan.
  • Pour the soup mix into the skillet with the chicken and allow it to simmer for about 10 more minutes or until the sauce begins to thicken.
  • While you are simmering the chicken, dice the broccoli into small pieces and place in a large skillet with about 1/2 cup of water.
  • Cover the pan and steam the broccoli over medium heat for about 10 minutes or until the broccoli is slightly soft and bright green.
  • Add the broccoli to the chicken and stir to combine.
  • Make the rice according to the package directions- either white or brown rice will work well.
  • Serve the chicken over the rice while both are still hot. Enjoy!
