This is an easy, decadent brownie recipe made with the classic Ferrero Rocher chocolates. Ferrero Rocher chocolates are sweet treats made from chocolate and hazelnut, produced by the Italian company called Ferrero. They are handcrafted and each ball is wrapped in foil and placed in a golden, shiny paper liner. These Ferrero Rocher Brownies are rich in chocolate, and taste deliciously fudgy. They look fancy but are easy to make as the regular brownies.

Mix the wet ingredients, the dry ingredients, then mix them together. Add the Ferrero Rocher chocolates and baked them until golden. As easy as that! With a few pantry staples such as cocoa, flour, sugar and Ferrero Rocher treats, you can whip a batch of brownies in a matter of minutes.

Ferrero Rocher Brownie Ingredients

Chocolate – use high-quality semi-sweet chocolate chips. If you’re in a pinch and can’t find chocolate chips, you can also use a bar of chocolate.

Butter – both salted and unsalted butter will work with this recipe. Alternatively, you can use oil.

Sugar – use granulated white sugar (dark brown sugar tastes too strong)

Egg – you one large egg (see below for egg substitutions)

Flour – all-purpose flour will work for this recipe.

Hazelnuts – you can also use pecan nuts almonds.

How To Make Ferrero Rocher Brownies

This brownie recipe is quick and easy. First, melt the chocolate chips and butter and whisk until smooth. Add the egg, sugar, and vanilla and mix again. Sift the dry ingredients into this mixture and whisk until just combined. Don’t overmix the batter, otherwise the brownie will be too dense!

Transfer to a baking tray lined with parchment paper, and add the Ferrero Roches. Don’t forget to line the baking tin with parchment paper otherwise, the brownie will stick! Bake until cooked through. Once done, serve the Ferrero Rocher Brownies with your favorite ice cream, or with a dollop of whipped cream.

Tips

If you want to leave out the egg, you can substitute it with a flax egg (1 tablespoon ground flaxseed mixed with 3 tablespoon water) or ½ a medium Banana, mashed or ¼ cup (4 tablespoons) apple sauce or ¼ cups yogurt/buttermilk.

Want to add more hazelnut flavor? Add a few tablespoons of Nutella (or another hazelnut spread) to the batter before baking.

For a lazy, shortcut version, use a brownie cake mix and add the Ferrero Roche chocolates before baking.

Want more texture? Add chocolate chips, pecans, or walnuts to the batter.

For moister brownies, you can use oil instead of butter. To prevent cakey brownies and make them fudgier, add more butter.

For a more pronounced chocolate flavor, add a teaspoon of instant coffee to the batter.

How To Store Ferrero Rocher Brownies

The Ferrero Rocher Brownies can be stored at room temperature for up to 3 days, or in the fridge for up to a week. Heat it in the microwave for a few seconds before serving.

You can freeze Ferrero Rocher brownies for up to 2 months, closed in a Ziplock bag. Let thaw before serving.
