You can use either of these carrier products such as olive oil, aloe vera, castor oil, almond oil, rosemary oil, apple cider vinegar, jojoba oil, coconut oil, or lavender oil along with tea tree oil on your hair and scalp.

The best way to use this essential oil is by adding 10 drops of tea tree oil to 2 tablespoons of any carrier product. Mix the two ingredients really well and then warm up this mixture in a double boiler. Do not use a microwave oven to heat the oil mixture. Evenly apply it all over your scalp and hair and then cover your head with a damp hot towel for 20 minutes or overnight. Shampoo and condition your hair afterward.

You can do this for no more than 3 times a week as washing your hair too frequently is not recommended.
