Broiled tilapia Parmesan: a delicious and flavorful fish recipe

tilapia fish fillet
500g , skinless and boneless
Parmesan cheese
¼ cup , grated
Cheddar Cheese
¼ cup, grated
Salted butter
2 tbsps, softened
Low fat mayonnaise
2 tbsps
fresh lime juice
1 tbsp
Dried oregano
¼ tsp
Onion powder
¼ tsp
salt
¼ tsp
Black pepper powder
¼ tsp

Broiled tilapia Parmesan is a delicious fish preparation that has amazing flavors, is rich and an extremely filling preparation. It takes not even half an hour to prepare this yummy preparation requiring absolutely no cooking skills and creamy yet crisp crust coating the fish fillet.

The best thing about this preparation is you do not have to marinate the fish yet you may taste amazing flavors of the seasoning used in preparing this dish. So, you do not have to wait for long to enjoy your favorite tilapia.

It is a perfect lazy day meal preparation. Just serve it with some fresh greens or a nice toast to fill you up on a lazy summer afternoon or a cold winter night.

Instructions

Preheat the oven to broiler mode and lightly grease a baking dish with vegetable oil. Arrange the clean tilapia fillets in to the prepared baking dish and broil it on high for 3 minutes.

Remove the baking dish, flip the fillets and broil the fish again for another 3 minutes. Meanwhile, in a large bowl add the parmesan cheese, cheddar cheese, softened butter, mayonnaise, fresh lemon juice, dried oregano, black pepper powder, onion powder, salt, and mix everything well until nicely combined.

Now, evenly cover the fillets in to the cheese mixture and again transfer the baking dish in to the oven to broil for another 8 to 10 minutes or until the fish is evenly brown at the top.

Serve the hot tilapia fillets and enjoy!

Tips

You may replace the cheddar with equal quantities of parmesan cheese to get a crispier coating over the fish. If desired you may also marinate the raw tilapia fillets in parmesan mixture for about 30 minutes and then broil the fish for 5 to 10 minutes alternatively on both sides. Maintain the oven temperature to high and you might need to keep a watch on the tilapia fillets in the final minutes of baking.
