Green tea

Black tea

It has the highest caffeine content as it is made with fermented tea leaves. Black tea has been studied to prevent the damage to lungs and reduce the risk of stroke.

White tea

It is the unfermented and uncured tea that has most potent anticancer properties.

Oolong tea

It is also high in antioxidant content and has been found to lower the bad cholesterol levels.

It is prepared from aged and fermented leaves. Certain studies have associated consumption of this tea with delayed weight gain and low LDL cholesterol levels.

Herbal tea

Many varieties of herbal teas such as hibiscus tea, Echinacea, chamomile tea, and rooibos tea are widely available in the market but herbal teas have been found to have a lower concentration of antioxidants compared to other variety of teas.
